spending the night up in the winchester mountain hut is a cool experience. the hut is an old converted lookout complete with stove, utensils, sleeping pads and propane tanks. it's all maintained by the mt. baker hiking club and supported by donations. definetly go check this place out but send some money to the club so they can keep this wonderful place stocked. log onto www.mountbakerclub.org for more info. |
