at 1094' it’s not a big mountain so a short hike will get you to its bald granite summit in no time. the views of acadia are incredible. rarely have i seen other people on its slopes and yet all over the summit and ridges are small scale rock sculptures and cairns that make it seem enchanted. it may be, in a small valley between the two summits is wizard pond.
